A Little Bit Goes a Long Way…

Ahh, the feeling of seeing seeds of ideas sprouting up bit by bit is a good one. The above video may not be much, but it an ambassador. It is the tendril of initiative inching forward to progress.
That video was shot on an iPhone in London, with the other clips captured in a variety of countries around the world: Thailand, Indonesia, and Ecuador to name a few.
It is reflective of the scale and reach sports have. They are everywhere and part of our lives whether we play them or not. They’re in schools, parks, neighborhoods, streets, stadiums, and on tv. I love how that simple video captures the world of sports as it really is. Not just a big event like the Euros or Olympics, but a winding road that we all traverse no matter where we are or how well we play.
I hope that we can all relate through the stories Planet Sport tells. The interviews, the wins, the losses, the issues and the fans. We’ve dreamt of its potential for many months now, and as I said earlier, are beginning to see it take shape.
With social media accounts already in action and growing, the Planet Sport community is forming. The launch of the website will take the engagement further. Fresh content is being produced regularly now; multiple times a week versus once weekly audio programs which was the previous quota. And this is just the beginning. Out of the Road to London video, you’ll find the heartbeat of Planet Sport.
Look for more growth and vibrancy over the next weeks. There is a world of sports out there, and stories abound. We’re here to play!
